@EmmetPeppers@Teslaconomics I would not think that. Optimus is optimized for mass production and has a fancy hand (hopefully). From first principles why should it be good at fighting?
@TSLAFanMtl This is a pipe dream. If distributed inference were really that valuable it would make sense to pursue directly. And because it’s not, it will not meaningfully provide value. Closer to $1/mo income to owner rather than $100/mo.
@heyitsyashu Where do you think the floor is and where is the support? Luckily we haven’t seen major setbacks recently but they are inevitable with such cutting edge technology.
@heyitsyashu 10% Tesla Bot. Which wouldn’t be that bad if we see major setbacks with FSD or the Bot. But if we’re 20% fundamental auto business valuation then we have a long way to fall before we reach a floor if FSD hits a major setback or if Bot does. Just interested to hear your take…
@heyitsyashu I’ll admit that it was exciting to see no one in the driver’s seat. But technically, this is nothing new since Teslas have been able to drive themselves and have included hardware for remote operation for a long time. Just seems like a strange catalyst for fomo to me.
@FrankLeeSG@ryan4cybertruck@SawyerMerritt As a former leap buyer you were once a short-term investor. Why is it bad for others to try to do the same thing that made you money?
