GTA V Xbox 360 Android port running on SnapDragon 8 Gen 1 at nearly full speed, GTA V running above full speed and better than native hardware on the SnapDragon 8 Gen 2.

Alpha release build is being built. You will need your own dumped copy of GTA V for Xbox 360 Disc 1 and 2. No assets will be distributed for the sake of not getting sued.

Including their translated copyrighted code. Workaround in the works.

It is an early release so expect graphical glitches, artifacts, and overall stability issues.

I actually have decompiled the Xbox 360 Version of the game. I could do GTA 4 if you want too.

This doesn’t use any of the leaked source code. That was my one requirement for this.

I’ve been working on it for maybe a month? Idk if GTA 6 will be decompiled within a day, but it most certainly can be emulated day 1, and then probably decompiled before the year is over lol. Maybe.

@Acelogic_ Is that why Asahi notoriously have had a hard time merging stuff into upstream? I’ve always seen them in some drama on the Linux Kernel mailing list.

Porting GTA 5 to Android by decompiling the Xbox 360 version of the game. First progress report.

Summary: After many sleepless nights I have finally gotten the game to boot past the loading screen and into gameplay, after which we made it into gameplay without the graphics and textures properly rendering, after fixing that and minimizing artifacts to a minimum we are moving on to performance optimization, when that is satisfactory I will continue to try and play through the game as normal until we run into more speed bumps.

I am very excited for the progress that is being made so far.

Goal: By end of 2026 to have the most stable and mid range device friendly version of GTA V running on android, with an IOS port to follow directly after.
