Out tonight to see Rilo Kiley at Shepherd's Bush Empire on the second London night of her "Sometimes When You're On You're Really F**king On" tour. Support came from Matthew Caws (Nada Surf). Massively packed crowd who knew every word.
Headliner tonight at the Lexington is Geordie, now London-based singer songwriter Imogen And The Knife. The last night of her tour and following a tour supporting The Last Dinner Party. A great voice, supported by a talented band with a great horn section. What's not to like?
Out tonight to the Lexington to see Imogen and the Knife supported by Avice Caro. First up was Avice Caro a singer songwriter with a voice to die for. Absolutely stunning. You could have heard a pin drop during her performance.
Great slide from Jack Peat, head of newsroom at Taylor Herring on his talk at PRmoment's "The Anatomy of Influence" - This is what people really see when they see "Breaking News".
Out tonight at the Hope & Ruin, Brighton to see Currls, Masca and Aly. First up is Aly fronted by Greek - now Brighton - singer songwriter Alex Geleklidou.
Quite liking this unofficial Bosnian World Cup 2026 song from Dubioza kolektiv
I am from Bosnia
Take me to America
I want to see
Statue of Liberty
I can no longer wait
Take me to United States
Take me to Golden Gate
I will assimilate...

Oh dear god!! Just received a release for the first canned 'Lagerita.' Apparently it's - checks notes in disbelief - “the lovechild of a zesty margarita and a crisp lager.” It's enough to drive you to drink, but not one of these.
Headliners Sugar, back together again for the Love You Even Still worldwide tour starting tonight here in Kentish Town. 24 songs in 85 minutes and all the hits. A very happy, very hot gig.
Out tonight to see Sugar supported by J Robbins Jawbox at the O2 Forum Kentish Town. I have my earplugs at the ready. First up was J Robbins playing what sounded like an acoustic version of Husker Du.
Out tonight to see Chris Brain at the Prince Albert, Brighton. First came across him at The Wake festival last year, doing an acoustic set and was incredibly impressed.
Headliner on his sold out tour is Yorkshire singer songwriter Chris Brain, helped out by Joe Harvey-Whyte and Owen Spafford. If you like Nick Drake or Bert Jansch then Chris is for you.
Girl Scout are normally a three piece but have a few extras tonight to help them out. They play at the quiet-loud Pixies/Breeders end of indie and boy are they good.
