You’re a unicorn Barrett and good on you! But the majority of young kids don’t have that maturity and courage at that young age. I think society is and will be in a better place if more people gets to experience 4yrs in college or similar environment around other kids, teachers mentors etc

US kids at 17/18 entering college are quite clueless how life works, interact in a work place etc. I agree that much can be learned or even self-learned through AI but EQ and social skills they develop in college and being in new environments has so much value and cannot be learned via an LLM

@CollinRugg Yes, these homeless always had a choice to start using drugs at some point of their life. But a dual diagnosis increases the risk of any sort of addiction dramatically. That’s factual.

@CollinRugg He’s generalizing big time. Sure some (probably a high percentage) are drug addicts but “drug addicts” usually suffer from dual diagnosis. Bipolar disorder, PTSD, Anxiety disorder, depression to mention a few are all disorders that are heavy linked (~40%) to drug abuse.

@ekonomigurun_ Cheap funding. Four of out the top 7 banks with highest credit rating are Swedish. The 5th is Norwegian. Spread between money in and money out obv greater for 🇸🇪 banks vs most Eur peers. They also run way more efficient. 90% of all branches closed last 20ish years.
