@NathanJoyes1 @TheCopaClub The early tension existed primarily with the press, generated by how he spoke about their profession and the unorthodox way he released squads, etc. In many ways, a lot of public liked that he spoke up on those topics and shook up what is a very traditional media culture.

@TheCopaClub @NathanJoyes1 The only real scepticism around his appointment was whether a Uruguayan could have been chosen instead. It was otherwise a popular choice and people were excited to have a coach with a more attacking approach than Alonso. Don't recall people asking for a 'stable' option.

@BomboneraTears Racing are quite interesting. Spoke to some people there a few months back and they seem very professional and are making good long-term investments in infrastructure. Will have to see if that can help them challenge consistently. There are definitely worse run SADs out there😮‍💨
