@livwris @LizPrybys "Seeing the value" is an important point. I never saw it in K12 because teachers stuck to the book. Higher ed was different due to actual application within my field of study. This is something that K12 can integrate as well! #EDU6558

Don't know if I'm sold on adults "deciding" to learn vs. children making that same choice. In K12 I certainly needed to make a conscious decision to learn, and have seen children reject schooling because they decided not to learn. #EDU6558

SM can be used to engage and motivate adult learners. To some degree using a familiar platform can help transitioning adult learners feel comfortable if they have been out of the classroom for a long period. #EDU6558
