@Engineer_i_Am @Lfc88Tom @brakeboosted Also, it was actually all 3 of his stops that were slow, his extra stop under the VSC was again 3+ seconds, so given all of his pitstops were at least 3-5 seconds compared to Lewis’ which were 2-3s, and he lost about 1-2 seconds of race time each stop, that’s easily 4-5s lost.

@Engineer_i_Am @Lfc88Tom @brakeboosted He literally lost over 4 seconds in 2 slow pitstops and had a whole extra stop compared to Lewis who got lucky with the VSC. Lewis was only even in the picture due to Charles’ bad luck.

@f1Lvy @Danelerc Accounting for Charles’ bad luck & Lewis’ good luck, Charles would actually be ahead by 5 pts. Lewis was very lucky to only receive a reprimand & not a 5s penalty for the yellow flag infringement. If he had, that’s -15 pts. Plus, he gained 6 pts on CL due to the BS Miami penalty.

First to Max turn 1 before the gift of a 2nd race start, then went off track multiple times not even battling, & was allowed by the team to hold Charles up for 15+ laps despite not meeting lap targets. You aren’t owed a win just by virtue of pole.
