It’s insane that he’s talking about sacrificing ‘much of his children’s teenage years’ after he helped kill tens of thousands of children in Gaza
The twisted morality of these people is absurd, they should all be in jail
Starmer didn’t cry at the charcoaled bodies of the children he helped burn to death in Gaza, or the pregnant women shot in the head with his support — but he weeps with self-pity for having to resign from his privileged position
Detestable to the end
Political sociologists will need to study how Keir Starmer—a man who echoed Rivers of Blood, supplied military intelligence to a genocide, assaulted civil liberties, demonised migrants, bankrupted universities, and let Palantir into the NHS—is still seen as "a decent man."
Our country needs a bold change of direction. Starmer lost the confidence of the country because of his abject failure to challenge the power and wealth of an establishment which has taken for themselves while leaving the vast majority in a cost of living crisis. (1/5)
It is going to be the Green Party, in alliance with working class movements, environmental and social justice movements, that can stand up to Reform to prevent the disaster of Nigel Farage in Downing Street. (5/5)
The fact that your government has made it illegal for me to answer yes is a damning testament to your flagrant disregard for civil liberties.
This may be targeted at those taking action against the genocide, but it sets a very dangerous precedent that puts everyone at risk.
Dr Walter Rodney was assassinated on June 13, 1980, by a bomb planted in a walkie talkie. He was 38.
His key work, How Europe Underdeveloped Africa, exposed the roots of global inequality and the violence of colonial underdevelopment.
Scale of sentences on the 4 young people who took direct action against the arms supplier to Israel is truly shocking. To impose years of imprisonment for protesting to save lives in Gaza is unjust, especially sentencing on terrorist grounds they were never convicted of by a jury
As Acclaimed Irish novelist Sally Rooney said ahead of today’s sentencing: “Protest that poses no threat to the public simply is not terrorism. […] This is an obvious effort to undermine solidarity with Palestine, but what it really undermines is UK law.” https://t.co/x6yAgqEYUv
This is barbaric. They were not permitted to explain to the jury why they carried out the attack on the Elbit factory - which makes the weapons that kill Palestinian children. And the jury was never told they would be sentenced as terrorists. /1
All pretence cast aside. A vicious attack on the Anti-Zionist movement by the British state acting for the Zionist regime in defence of genocide.
Shameful.

Jeremy Johnson - in 50 years time this will be the only 1.39 minutes of your life you'll be remembered for. It'll be played in genocide museums to sum up the complicity and callous brutality of the British state in the face of the slaughter of the Palestinian people - and the courage of those who opposed it.
