Yeah I'm Aussie and I'm all g thanks, I live in a major city and can get delicious grass-fed/organic beef from a local butcher and the beef is sourced from less than 50-100kms from my house and at a great price, super affordable.
Why TF would I ever want some feed lot beef that has been either frozen or shipped half way across the planet and costs more? I love the logic of the American main character syndrome though it's a hilarious double-standard, 'everything should be done local, made/manufactured in America and we need to support home grown businesses, but other countries should be forced to buy our shit even if they don't want it and have plenty of their own, they should eat our stuff instead of their better quality home grown stuff, fuck them if they want to support their own local industries, everything should be made in America but no one else should make their own stuff they should just be forced to buy it from us, we can't have everyone supporting their own local industries aswell, they should be forced to support ours' 🤣
@gidonsaar One side of your family arrived from Argentina in the 1960s with Ukrainian roots. The other came under the Ottomans.
Maybe you need to ease up on calling Palestine an “illusionary state” when half your lineage touched down after the Beatles @Gideonsaar2
The Israeli minister calls Palestine an “illusion,” yet it is millions of real lives under blockade, occupation and bombardment. This isn’t illusion, it’s deliberate denial of basic human rights.
Blaming Gaza’s suffering solely on Hamas is a convenient cover for decades of illegal settlement expansion, home demolitions & military occupation. You speak of security but security built on occupation & apartheid is never lasting.
France’s recognition of Palestine is not a threat to Israel, it is a step toward balance, accountability, and peace. The world is no longer buying the narrative that demands unconditional safety for one people while denying freedom to another.
The alternative to a Palestinian state is not eternal occupation,, it is endless conflict.
Real peace requires equal rights, equal dignity & mutual recognition. Not walls. Not siege.
Not excuses
Horrendous as the beginning cause of this slaughter was, the revenge on #Palestinians by #Israel has far outweighed the original crime.
Starving people will not bring the hostages back.
Israel has created a wasteland of Palestine & is losing any sympathy it had.

“I don’t know how people who pretend to be part of our species can contemplate such calculated cruelty.”
Bob Carr slams Israel for its orchestrated killing & starving of children in Gaza.

Hmmm….I wonder if Chevron’s massive profits have anything to do with our Government giving them all the gas they export FOR FREE, letting them pat $0 PRRT, and making taxpayers pay their clean up costs?
The Obamas extended every courtesy to the Trumps
The Trumps return was to snub, lie about, vilify + denigrate the Obamas
The Bidens extended every courtesy to the Trumps
The Trumps return was to snub, lie about, vilify + denigrate the Bidens
The Trumps are truly Sh*tty people!

At what point do we say enough is enough?
An Aquatic Centre is what, exactly?
A big hole, 50 Metres long, filled with water, surrounded by seats, with a roof overhead?
How, exactly, do you spend $1.2B on that, for a week-long swim meet?
Australia has paid $1.6bn to Trump for a war program the US has put under review. Outrageous
If the Trump review gives the go ahead it means it is an ‘America First’ war program. If it fails we don’t get the $ money back
That’s a lose/lose outcome

This sets a bad precedent. How many other multinational tax dodging fossil fuel majors will govt bail out of their rehab obligations?
Half a bil for Chevron, que?

Ghislaine Maxwell was found guilty of sex trafficking underage girls. That is an indisputable fact. There’s a reason Donald Trump has always been quick to downplay the gravity of her crimes and even went so far as to publicly wish her well—because he is not an uninvolved bystander. His repeated efforts to minimize or deflect from this abhorrent behavior only raise further suspicion about his own involvement. With each evasive or dismissive comment, Trump doesn’t distance himself from guilt—he reinforces it.
