It’s been a minute.

For those who’ve been following since the early crypto days, thank you.

This account started as the voice of The Merkle, and it grew with all of you through the wild Bitcoin/altcoin era.

A lot has changed since then.

The Merkle @themerklehash and NullTX @nulltxnews have new homes and fresh directions. This account is now my personal founder account (@marginsystems).

Day 3 of building the AI X-Copilot

Kept pushing on the core loop - better triage, memory handling, and making the agent actually useful for finding good threads.

@MShteyn5470 Taking a bucketed approach. First we fill the first bucket of candidate threads through raw search. Then we qualify them via LLM.

You set an agenda and DeepSeek will find proper queries to search.

Some filters we use is a max character limit (we don’t want to read long articles or long threads) it’s a lot of cognitive load to understand and reply most of the time.

Also we avoid threads / posts that are just general questions and tag it as engagement bait. So you don’t have to waste time on your own timeline.

I will never regret finishing my CS degree 2 years ago after dropping out 10 years ago.

I learned invaluable systems design principles, fell in love with CS, understood it from the ground up. Got to work with other students on any projects, had to code everything by hand because AI was banned.

It made me appreciate AI so much more.

I tried GSAP a few years ago, the lack of cross compatibility across safari / Firefox / chrome, I had to deprecate it.

Just do cubic bezier animations with css (no framer motion)

And also just use your own intersection observer for react, today’s models can easily rebuild whichever parts of GSAP you need from scratch.

@LuckynClover I have been leaning more and more into Opus 5 executing my PRs because the work is done is just so elegant and trustworthy and beautiful. Maxed out all my cursor limits with Opus 5 first few days it was out haha.
