Retired Early Years Practitioner Part of Duke St church family and Ostomy world Grandma to Dylan 7, Ollie 5, Elena 3 Elena’s daddy died of brain tumour, age 39
@HardmanWil We had exactly the same experience! The jump from “Learning through Play” in Early Years to the rigidness of year 1 is too great especially for the July/August birthdays (granddaughter is Aug 31st)
@Nicola_J_Gill@Matineegirl@PrimaMag I have just finished your novel “Swimming For Beginners”. I absolutely loved it, couldn’t put it down. I have a 6 year old granddaughter whose daddy (my daughter’s husband) died three years ago from a brain tumour. The emotions and feelings of the child you describe so correctly
@LUFC is there any chance of getting a ticket for my 6 year old granddaughter for Wembley on Saturday? Her dad was a Leeds season ticket holder and she’s a devoted fan but he died 3 years ago of a brain tumour (aged 39). Thank you
@wellowdriver So sorry. It’s devastating. We lost our dear son in law, in 4 months, from a brain tumour in 2021. He left behind our daughter and 3 (then) year old granddaughter. Sending love and hugs xx
@Pret is it acceptable that my friends and I were literally thrown out of your Richmond branch yesterday at 2pm because we were seated upstairs and they wanted to clean there? There were no available seats downstairs. We hadn’t even finished our lunch!
@Pret I have a severe cream (not dairy) allergy and have always relied on your children’s sandwiches for safety reasons in my frequent visits. I was horrified yesterday (thankfully I checked the ingredients list) that they now include cream!! Totally unnecessary!
@currys could you please tell me why I still haven’t had the refund for the PS5 controller I sent back because the packaging was so dreadful that it arrived badly damaged?
