#sainwelby just heard you on the radio saying the 5p plastic bag charge isnt working. I organise beach cleans as well as volunteer on other events & have definitely seen a reduction in the amount of plastic bags being washed up on our beaches. Every small act is positive!

A short walk along East Cliff Front Bournemouth this evening collected another bag full of rubbish off the beach. The majority of it plastic along with a vast amount of cigarette butt ends again. A slightly longer #2MinuteBeachClean this evening.

#2MinuteBeachclean completed just outside #englishheritage Portland Castle car park this afternoon. Lots & lots of cigarettes stubs & wetwipes along with general ‘lunchtime’ food rubbish!

Fantastic clean event at Chesil Beach, Portishead this weekend. Thank you to the @mcsuk volunteers. Over 2000 pieces of glass removed with a total waste collection weight of 41.75kg! Amazing!!
