Everyone is tested differently.
Some with “natural” disasters.
Others with pure cruelty.
Some with an enemy who hates them. Others with a loved one who doesn’t love them back.
Some with blinding wealth. Others with gripping poverty.
Your job isn’t to compare tests.
It’s to pass yours.
And being pleased with the One who decreed it can carry you through it all.
Learn to rejoice and celebrate the victories of others. It will open doors of goodness in your own life in return. Be gracious enough to do that even for your enemy. Such positive actions will lift you especially during your worst days.
Wars don’t end with countdown clocks and dramatic declarations.
They end with justice, accountability, and the restoration of trust — not with self-congratulatory timelines or branded ceasefires.
This so-called “12-Day War” wasn’t a video game that could be paused on command.
And peace isn’t a marketing campaign to be saluted in capital letters.
Real diplomacy demands humility — not theatrics.
Let’s be absolutely clear:
Neither Israel nor Iran owes their ceasefire to a foreign leader chasing applause.
They owe it to the innocent civilians caught in the crossfire.
To their people, broken by grief.
To a region already bleeding from decades of trauma.
You want to talk about stamina, courage, and leadership?
True strength lies in knowing when to step back — not when to hog the spotlight.
Peace in the Middle East will never be dictated by ego.
It will be earned through quiet diplomacy, mutual respect, and the courage to confront hard truths.
So spare us the victory laps and the flag-waving speeches.
The world doesn’t need more spectacle.
It needs sincerity.

Today a righteous man was killed by the most wicked army on earth. Khaled Nabhan who we watched bid farewell to his beloved Reem, the soul of our soul, has joined her in the realm of souls where the wickedness of this so called humanity will no longer reach them. The man had an angelic presence to say the least. He smiled in the face of a genocide, and went around hospitals and camps comforting people despite his own pain. A man who seemed too good to be here. I longed for the day to meet him in person. I imagined the day the genocide would be over and he would be celebrated with awards around the world on the biggest stages. The demonized turbaned Muslim man who was everything they said he couldn’t be. Kind. Loving. Righteous. Resilient. Too good for this world. Our hearts are broken. I won’t post the picture of his bloodied face, just the smile they tried to make the world unsee. May Allah have mercy on you our brother and join you with your beloved Reem and Rasul ﷺ, and may we join you there one day too.
