Day 3 - HyperRelease in @shipordie_
It's a bit complicated for me to make rapid progress on the project, as I can only work on it in the evenings from 9 PM to 1 or 2 AM...
Very frustrating because it's a project I'm passionate about.
Here are today's updates:
▶️ First feature 20% done --> 60% done
▶️Landing page 50% done --> 70% done. I really need to focus on the graphic/UI aspect.
▶️To do: decide on pricing and connect Stripe
I doubt I can finish the MVP and release it by Sunday. Frustrating, but I keep going 💪
@jessyka_boat I also faced that request from their side.
In one hand, it's pretty annoying but in the other hand this means only "good" apps will be accepted in the App Store, which is good i think
I didn't manage to do everything I wanted today on HyperRelease 🙁
But already so much done:
✅ About 50% of the landing is ready
✅ Delightful design is done
✅ The Auth part is ready
✅ The onboarding is 💅
✅ The first feature is about 20% done
⏩⏩⏩ Tomorrow I continue the journey on @shipordie_

💻 Today I’m coding the HyperRelease MVP. It’s day 2/30 of @shipordie_
Here’s what I want to accomplish today:
🔲 Landing website
🔲 Auth in place
🔲 First feature live
🔲 Webapp deployed
No time to hesitate, I ship.
Ship or Die started yesterday.
23 hours spent thinking, digging, analyzing.

I made a game where you have to ship a startup every 30 days.
If you miss the deadline, you die ☠️
It's called https://t.co/dr6UTvtYcO.
It uses the same game mechanics that kept me addicted to World of Warcraft: You start as a Noob Pirate, and you complete quests to level up, like buying your 1st domain or getting 1,000 visitors.
There's Discord for the social part, but you need to keep shipping to stay in (otherwise, everybody can see you walked the plank).
Since 2022, I've launched one startup per month, and it has changed my life. I hope this game will change yours too.
[Day Last] Build in Public https://t.co/fCkdsUkJSZ - Let's move on!
🛑 I’m closing the CarPappers chapter.
ℹ️ Over the last weeks, I tested 3 different angles, contacted 160+ prospects, got around 20 website visits, 5 people checked an example car health record, and received 1 email reply — negative ❌.
✅ That’s not a success story. It’s a signal. I’d rather be honest about it, learn from it, and move on to something worth building.
Exploring an idea for solo SaaS founders.
Question:
If you’re running a SaaS mostly alone, where do your important signals live right now?
Revenue, product analytics, support, emails, feedback, churn, roadmap, notes…
Do you feel like you have a clear weekly view of what actually matters?
