She wants to look smaller and more delicate. She clearly loves the attention she gets from looking like a fragile, helpless little girl, and she likes that her fans tell her that what she is doing to her body looks good. That is why I will always say her fans are enabling this behavior.

And this behavior is not even unique to her.

If you have ever spent time in any online pro-ana community, you will inevitably come across some form of Lolita inspired aesthetic or references, dolls, nostalgia bait photos, and recurring themes of fragility.

And ultimately, it is about control. These people may feel that they grew up with very little control over their lives, so suppressing their growth and remaining in a childlike state can become a way of reclaiming it.

The high school ponytail, baby voice, childish interests, oversized sweaters, the weird childish larping, and suppression of physical growth all feel like attempts to remain in that childlike state. And her fans telling her that it looks good are doing infinitely more damage than any internet hater ever could lmao.
