The Judge in Guildford family court in 2019 who 💯 disregarded the pleas of her mother not to give sole custody to Urfan Sharif who had been arrested a number of times for violence against women and children should be held to account for Sara Sharif’s murder.

How could the judge have ignored the fact that the family had repeatedly attracted the attention of social services, police and schools?

A postmortem found Sara had 71 external injuries, including bruises, burns and human bite marks. She also had at least 25 fractures, including 11 to her spine.

Sharif admitted binding Sara with packing tape and beating her with a cricket bat, metal pole and mobile phone. He denied biting her, putting her in a homemade hood and burning her with an iron and boiling water.*

Meanwhile in Ireland, Deputy Mattie McGrath has received a reply to a Parliamentary Question where he asked Roderic O'Gorman TD, Minister for Children; Equality; Disability; Integration and Youth if he will investigate Tusla’s involvement or lack of involvement in the case of the four year old boy whose custody was given to his father, who was sentenced on Friday 11 October 2024 to seven years in prison after he pleaded guilty to neglect and obstructing the apprehension of the person he knew to have murdered the child.

The minister didn’t answer the question directly, but in an indirect response from Tusla, Deputy McGrath was told that the matter had been handed over for investigation to the National Review Panel that investigates the death of children known to Child and Family Agency - Tusla.
