You're getting TWO ballots this October. The second one asks about open-air hard drug use and involuntary care for people who are seriously ill. It's non-binding. That's exactly why the number matters. Vote yes. Then hold them to it. 🎥👇 #VanPoli
This cynical election is not what British Columbians asked for, but it offers our province the hope for real change. That is why our team has come together, strong and unified, to bring overdue change and build British Columbia back up into the province that you deserve.
Lorne Doerkson and Peter Milobar have come together to give British Columbians a viable governing alternative to the NDP chaos.
It is long past time for change.
Eby and the NDP have raised taxes, made you poorer, done nothing to fix the real problems of crime, drugs, and disorder in our streets, and the cost of living crisis. They blew through the Horgan surplus and are now running a deficit so large that even the accounting errors are counted in the billions of dollars.
Four more years of David Eby's weak, divisive, and unpopular government would be a disaster.
At a time when BC and Canada are facing a war to weaken and break us from Donald Trump, we need a government that is strong, unified, and willing to fight for our province. Under the BC NDP government, our trade reliance on the USA has increased. Their failure to grow and diversify trade has left us more vulnerable to the current trade war.
We are a party of progressive ideas and conservative values. We believe you can grow the economy and protect the environment. We believe you can be compassionate and still demand results. We believe in safe streets, treatment that works, schools that teach what students need to learn, and a government that spends your money like it's your money - because it is.
We believe in opportunity and prosperity for ALL British Columbians.
BC deserves better than David Eby's cynical politics and damaging government. You deserve lower taxes, a strong economy, safe streets, secure land, and a government that is proud of our province and its rich history.
That is what our team stands for. We invite you to stand with us. To stand strong for BC.
David Eby has handed BC a chance for change - let's take it!
While British Columbians are already pushed to the brink by an unyielding affordability crisis, David Eby’s NDP is secretly plotting its next cash grab from everyday commuters. In quiet meetings, the Ministry of Finance, TransLink, and the Mayors’ Council are crafting a new vehicle levy and laying the groundwork for road pricing, deliberately hiding the details until after they try to push through a snap election.
This NDP government expects hard-working drivers to foot the bill for fiscal mismanagement while keeping the public completely in the dark. Such secrecy demonstrates a total disregard for the public, treating family budgets as a blank check for government spending.
Families across the province are already struggling to afford groceries, rent, and the basic cost of simply getting to work. The absolute last thing British Columbians need is another government raid on household finances, whether through a new vehicle fee or a charge on the daily commute, just for driving kids to school.
If the NDP is actively drawing up these plans, they need to stop hiding the details and come clean with the public immediately. British Columbians deserve absolute transparency, not a government that keeps the price tag a secret until the voting is over. Taxpayers have a right to know the truth: what exactly is this new vehicle levy, and how much will it cost families across British Columbia?
Voters will not be fooled by a government that hides the price tag today only to stick drivers with the bill tomorrow.
Voting is now open until May 29 at 8:00 am. British Columbians are ready for change. They are ready to defeat the NDP and get BC Back on Track.
My Five-Point Premier’s Plan, including a 20% personal income tax cut, is resonating with seniors, families, workers, and people across this province who need real relief and real leadership.
The Honourable James Moore says British Columbia needs leadership. He’s right. Experience matters and I am ready.
Ready to unite the party.
Ready to unite caucus.
Ready to lead British Columbia and WIN.
Now we need every member to vote. I would be truly grateful for your #1 spot on the ballot and your consideration for #2.

It’s time to defeat the NDP and take back our province.
But first, we have a choice to make in this leadership race.
Do we want to take a RISK?
Or do we want someone who is READY?
This race is about "risk versus ready" - and I am READY.
Experience matters. I am ready to lead this party. Ready to unite our caucus. Ready to present a BOLD Five-Point Premier’s Plan that includes a 20% personal income tax cut to put more money back in YOUR pocket.
Most importantly, I am ready to WIN.
Voting opens Saturday morning. I am asking for your #1 spot on the ballot - and I would be grateful for your consideration as your #2 choice.
Together, we will get BC back on track. https://t.co/uiQHESGvVr
NEW: BC Conservative leadership candidate @iainblackbc torches rival @KerryLynneFindl for failing her own conservative purity test with newly discovered donations to the federal Liberal party.
As we celebrate the 40th anniversary of Expo, I was touched and humbled to receive a special email today; an endorsement from an elder statesman of BC, and an icon of Kamloops politics, itself.
18 years of distinguished service, serving under 4 premiers. A former Speaker of the Legislature. The minister responsible for Expo ‘86: the event that put B.C. on the global map and arguably paved the way for BC to credibly bid on the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
And a fine man, who “taught me the ropes” when I was the youngest MLA & youngest cabinet minister in Gordon Campbell’s government all those years ago.
Thanks, Claude.

I have been following the competition for the next leader of the BC Conservative Party very closely, and I have reached a clear conclusion.
There is only one person truly qualified for the job: Iain Black.
He has the knowledge, the experience, and the courage needed to bring British Columbia back to where it should be.
It will take a strong and capable leader to clean up the mess left behind by the NDP. Anyone who takes the time to read Iain’s plan will see that he has addressed all the key issues. Government spending will be brought under control, an unnecessarily bloated cabinet will be reduced to what is essential, and there will be no more wasteful giveaways.
I was in provincial government for many years, most of them at the cabinet table. When Iain joined us there, it was immediately clear to me that he had what it takes. The other candidates in the race are good and sincere people, I am sure, and they mean well—but the real question is whether they can deliver the results British Columbians need starting day one. Iain also has the character and acumen to navigate the province through future events we cannot foresee.
This time, we must vote for the leader who can back up his promises with real action. Iain Black is that leader. His track record at the Vancouver Board of Trade, along with his many successes in the private sector, speaks for itself.
I urge all Conservatives to take a close and serious look at Iain Black’s plan. I am confident that when you do, you will see—just as I have—that he is the leader we need at this critical time.
Sincerely,
Claude Richmond
Ex Minister of Tourism (including Expo 86), Social Services and Housing, Forestry, Speaker of the Legislature, and ex-Minister of Unemployment and Income assistance.

We can’t design software to properly pay our public servants. Or design a helpful airport arrival app that works. Or deliver passports on time. Or keep track of expired visa holders. But we’re going to build AI supercomputers and launch rockets into space? Alrighty then.
Let that number sink in: more than $1 trillion of investment exited Canada during the past decade of Liberal govt. Yet they claim our economic problems are due to external factors. Are we tired of this yet?
New RBC report: between 2015-2024, more than $1 trillion in investment exited Canada—the largest capital exodus in Canadian history.
Six sectors where Canada can attract back investment:
Oil and gas ➡️ $705 billion
Electricity ➡️ $635 billion
Mining ➡️ $200 billion
Agriculture and food processing ➡️ $205 billion
Defence and space ➡️ $30 billion

‘British Columbia does not need a learning curve - it needs leadership” - James Moore
I am honoured to have the endorsement of the Honourable James Moore and grateful for his expression of confidence in me.
As a former senior Federal Conservative Cabinet James understands what this moment requires.
As he said, ‘Iain Black has the right mix of experience in government and the private sector, and I do not believe being Premier of this province is a rookie job. Experience matters - and Iain Black is ready.’
James and I share a deep commitment to getting British Columbia back on track - and that’s exactly what I intend to do.
