Thirtysomething, runner with IBS - can be done!!, massive cross country fan.

Right, going to try probiotics to get my inner self more in line with my desire to run! I'm trying @symprove

[Marie Davies @marierunner]

Snow not really melting very fast. No running for me tonight. Too risky.

[Marie Davies @marierunner]

freezing here - anyone got snow yet?

[Marie Davies @marierunner]

@symprove Hi. I read the article in the Daily Mail about probiotics. Are yours suitable for people with IBS-D??

[Marie Davies @marierunner]

Anyone tried vsl3? I'm looking into probiotics to balance things out a bit in my WW3 state tummy!

[Marie Davies @marierunner]

@bladerievf Thank you, but I'd rather something that is scientifically proven. And doesn't look like a blag!

[Marie Davies @marierunner]

Still off work with the IBS. Christmas was not good. Haven't been able to go for a run for ages. Can't someone find a cure for #IBS?!

[Marie Davies @marierunner]

4 mile run today. Seems warmer today...

[Marie Davies @marierunner]

a light smattering of snow this morning. how festive!!

[Marie Davies @marierunner]

Poor Darren Fletcher, I have IBS and I know ppl with IBD - both very debilitating. Amazed he's managed this long in such a tough sport!

[Marie Davies @marierunner]

3 mile run this morning in the dark. Shorter days play havoc with running!!!

[Marie Davies @marierunner]

@trenholmeeqij9 Helpful. THanks (!)

[Marie Davies @marierunner]

I'd love to hear from other runners who have IBS. What tips do you use to be able to run further?

[Marie Davies @marierunner]

Fab weekend. Friends over and deccies down from the loft - just need to put them up now!

[Marie Davies @marierunner]

@runnersworld do you have any other runners with IBS that want to share tips? esp on overcoming pain so we cna go further..?

[Marie Davies @marierunner]

Managed to do 3 mile run last night. Getting difficult in the dark. Plus my condition really does limit things :-(

Aim for tonight - 3/4 miles cross heath. Good night's sleep.

[Marie Davies @marierunner]

Wow, you type in something as simple as "irritable bowel syndrome" and there's so much stuff?!?! What's true and what's not!?

[Marie Davies @marierunner]

@DaveKrumholtz I empathise greatly...
