Overnight Plymouth’s Conservative council chopped down nearly 100 trees in the city centre. It’s a scene of environmental devastation and utter council vandalism. I’m appalled at the actions of the Tory Council. Sad day for our city. #plymouth #ArmadaWay

The British public were asked to give their view of Liz Truss in a word. These are their most common answers. 👇

I'm in the UK & it's hot🥵🌡️

We typically talk of global average temp rise - but shifts in the mean can have big impacts on the distribution of extremes as this @NASAClimate video shows.

Here's a short🧵on what this means for future extremes... 1/n

Just WOW!

Oh, this is just a gorgeous explainer video of just how stunning the detail is from the first pic out (today!) from NASA’s new James Webb Space Telescope.

Look at all those worlds. 🥺

We were #Ready4Rishi @RishiSunak when you promised everyone would be supported and no one would be left behind.. you then left over 3million #ExcludedUK and #forgottenltd families to rot whilst ignoring there was an issue with your policy decision.. jog on!! @ConHome

I'm really looking forward to offering this session with you @BeMoreSquirrel 😊 I'm thinking now a truer title for some people might be 'Fanning the embers of hope when it's feeling utterly futile'. This is for those people too 🤗
