I genuinely feel so bad for Dohwa and his entire existence, his reason and purpose as a character 😭

Everyone knows the role of the second male lead, yes ofc, but to have put him forward alongside Eunhyuk's 10 year ghosting - to have revealed the depth of Dohwa's feelings and attachment over that time.. it's just cruel.

The moment that really changed how I viewed him was when he went back to the arcade, and it showed us that over the years, he'd continued playing the game he had with Suae and had been beating her top score; only to have saved the name as her username 🥹

It seemed so inconsequential, but so simple how he had kept her presence alive around him no matter what.

Ahhh. I'm so upset for Dohwa.
When your entire existence is in adoration and affection for one person;
when in spite of your childhood, adolescence, and adulthood - where everyone wants something from you, and you haven't been able to make a genuine connection, where there was no warmth even with the attention offered to you - there was only one person you trusted and loved 💔
