WTF timeline are we on. Someone called me the MAGA whisperer and I’ll gladly take the title. Left, right, D or R we all want the same things. We’re being divided on purpose by the Epstein Elite Oligarch class because as long as we’re at each other’s throats, they get fat and rich off of our misery. The second we figure out we agree on more than we disagree, they’re done. Love your neighbor. Be yourself. Radical honesty. No fucks given, no fucks taken. Everything else is just noise. (But still fuck Jake “Brick Tamland” Tapper on any time line)
Bari Weiss and her wife are in the Epstein files. Weiss’s wife was VERY close to Epstein, so much so that she shared with Epstein her first encounter with. See her wife’s enthusiasm to meet Epstein here. In 2018. When everyone already knew he was a pedophile.
@CBSNews@CHueyBurns The faux “hard hitting questions” they are using to thinly veil the fact that they are now 100% ran by the Ellisons (Trumps lap dog) is honestly hilarious. No one takes CBS seriously anymore, nor should they.
@Jkrom34 It’s got its problems, sure - every major city does. But I continue to find it hilarious when people try to make it sound like Seattle and other major coastal hubs are somehow dieing because of the gays and liberals. Like, cmon guys.
@VladdyXO@hgomez27@zoidbergererer The same reason you tell your mother you love them. It’s an act of compassion for a minority in our society. When people feel alone, they struggle. So why not spend our lives making others feel accepted for who they are? Or do you just want to be a giant dick all the time?
@BNightengale The competitive balance issue is largely created by owners like John Fischer and Bob Nutting who refuse to spend money to complete their rosters. Yes, the dodgers outspending everyone is problematic - but far less than teams who don’t even try in the first place.
@PatrickHeizer Median income in Seattle is 124k. That’s a 3.1M savings if you withdraw 4% a year. Sure you could move to the middle of no where and live cheaper, but the reality is - everyone I know who’s tried this, moves back because there’s nothing but farm land in the Midwest.
This is the only and best argument for accepting a cap and floor. Making sure more guys have a secure financial future to take care of themselves and their family would be a good thing.
I'll continue to hammer on this point as the trend remains intact. The majority of players to step on an MLB field each season play at the league minimum. And that pay rate has lagged the other Big 4 N. American sports. Reaching 6 years of service time is extremely difficult.
