Wizard Quill has carried a lot of early days on @SomniaEco
the experimenting, the rough edges, the learning in public. it did its job, and it did it well

but 2026 feels different here

so Wizard Quill won’t be showing up in our designs anymore
except for a few special series. you probably know which ones

a new year with a new quill and a new way somnia shows up
same ecosystem but a new chapter ahead

my honest take on the Lootboxes pause:

this should’ve been caught earlier. when a reward mechanic lets secondary market activity distort the intended participant flow, it stops rewarding odyssey users and starts rewarding market structure

pausing was the right call

but pausing fast, acknowledging the distortion, and protecting reward balance is still the better move than forcing a broken loop to continue
