Question their integrity all you want. They’ve made their bed and are clearly looking out for themselves at this point. But when the same criticisms keep coming from every direction, there was obviously some truth buried in them.

I suspect a lot of former MAGA will simply sit out the next election as reality continues to set in. The hardliners, meanwhile, seem increasingly detached from it. If the "traitors" and "leftists" within MAGA keep leaving, and the extremists remain, don’t be surprised when the label shifts from political movement to terrorist movement.

By that point, they’ll likely have decoupled themselves from Trump entirely once he leaves office, or croaks. What remains will be a persistent domestic thorn in the 21st century American political landscape, throwing increasingly desperate tantrums as its attempts at grasping air become futile for a dying collective of white supremacy.
