@JZivanDesign@RevenueCat really good stuff Jacob, I wasn't aware of this level of flexibility in the getOfferings API, that's neat! Thanks so much for your help!
@RevenueCat any particular reason paywall footers don’t work with your new paywalls? I’d like to use just the footer for my own custom coded paywall, but the fact that you abandoned the footer for Paywalls V2 makes me concerned of using it.
@JZivanDesign@RevenueCat Yeah that’s why I said I was afraid of using it; it was deprecated for a reason. Something goes awry and that’ll be on me… I’d rather not… I just hope that you guys bring this footer-only approach to your current paywalls. It was the killer feature for me.
@JZivanDesign@RevenueCat As for why I don’t try your paywalls, well the templates are fairly limited, plus I cannot use TimelineView animations, background videos, all that fancy stuff
@JZivanDesign@RevenueCat Thanks for replying! I’m not looking to use an RC paywall at all, whether V1 or V2. What I was thinking was to use my very own paywall coded in Swift, and simply present the RC-provided footer. That way I could tweak the pricing remotely, while using my very own design
@matteo_spada@TryAstroApp What I’m saying is that given the lack of log in flow on your site, it’s pointless from a user’s standpoint to show the Difficulty and Apps in Ranking columns since all we’re ever going to see is “Unlock”
@matteo_spada@TryAstroApp as an Astro subscriber I have no way to log in for this tool and see popularity/difficulty scores. It says "try Astro" and takes me Lemon Squeeze to pay, but I'm already a subscriber
@georgesttock I was going to try your product, but a hard paywall before even seeing what the tool is capable of is a huge red flag 🚩 I’ve already seen quite a few of these “UGC killers” being absolutely horrible, so I’m not paying until I see what it can do in action.
@SinaSinry Look who’s mad now. You got exposed and now you lash out. Anyone with a lick of sense here will come to the same conclusion I did. Keep on going with your con artist work, I’ll keep building amazing apps that *actually* exist and ppl enjoy. Bye.
@SinaSinry You have it so deep in you just don’t get it. I’m always HAPPY to see other solopreneurs make it, as I am one myself and that inspires me. What what you’re doing here is just misleading folks to gain an audience. Now you got called out and are trying to deflect the criticism.
