Introducing Graphical.
It's a simple, powerful, and fun tool to design visual languages, style components, and work with coding agents to create interfaces that look memorable and feel unique.
I hope you'll check it out at https://t.co/crX3W8hHCz!
Air Bnb co-founder Joe Gebbia walks through https://t.co/dakyZfQESZ.
Government should feel like a modern product, not a maze of 29,000 websites.
He’s said https://t.co/dakyZfQESZ is the new front door. Ask it a question in plain English and it pulls official answers across agencies.
Today it’s search and guidance. In 2027 it starts doing the work for you like file the form, track the status, finish the task.
His examples: change your name after getting married, enroll in Medicare, check a student loan, update a USPS address, get VA care, buy a parks pass, set up a Trump account, compare drug prices. Same idea every time: one place, official sources only, updated within minutes of a government publish, no ads, no required login, and it doesn’t keep your chats.
Bottom line from him: stop hunting across clunky federal sites. Talk to government like a concierge, and soon let it complete the action instead of just pointing you at another form.
Software is increasingly treated as disposable in the AI era. Yet we spend half our waking lives looking at screens! We don’t want to spend that time with zombie products—monotonous, vacant, and uncared for. We want products with soul. 💜
I go deep on this in my talk from @lennysan's Summit: https://t.co/Fv5nNwSwcm
Friends my age who entered tech in the 2010s are telling me the same story.
They expected a chill office job: working 35 hours a week, shipping a PR a day, and having a narrow area of focus.
Those jobs are long gone. A week's work is now expected in a day, while engineers are pushed into planning, customer feedback, and GTM coordination. It's either go up or go home.
Some are joining slower companies, taking a break, or leaving tech forever.
13 years ago, Apple asked a question that hits me harder today than ever:
If everyone is busy making everything, how can anyone perfect anything?
Every day, I see a world flooded with effortless AI slops. I’m realizing that to build something truly great today, you need a level of focus the world has never demanded before.
It feels like trying to write a quiet, beautiful song in a room full of loud noise.
The thing I miss the most about coding by hand is the clarity.
You knew exactly what lives in which file, why you wrote a specific line, why you rewrote the other one, why you used this library.
You still can have such awareness, but it’s harder since everything happens faster
your relationship with discipline changes so much when you shift doing things from shame to love. from ‘i have to clean’ to realizing i deserve to have a clean home. from ‘i need to work out’ to i deserve to have a healthy body. you deserve to have the best from yourself.
Stop trying to become someone nobody could criticize. That person doesn't exist. Jesus got criticized. Some people dislike puppies. You are not going to be the first universally approved human. Save yourself the fucking effort.
