The church's shrine contains the relics of its patron saint, St Wite (St Candida is the Latin translation). Apparently it’s the only shrine and relics in the country to survive the Reformation besides Edward the Confessor's @wabbey and St Eanswythe in #Folkestone.

#Distraction #thieves have targeted an elderly lady at the bank #ATM Southwark St @se1. They took her card/money whilst she was being distracted, then kept her talking and other nearby ATMs were used to withdraw more money. Obviously one of the gang watched her tap in her pin. 🤬

@VMMChamberlain @MayorWatch I'm a senior and use buses all the time and the RV1 and 344 are my favourites. So so disappointed we are going to lose RV1. I think it's the only direct bus from London Bridge to Strand, Covent Garden and Waterloo Bridge. Does the @MayorofLondon regularly travel by bus I wonder?
