got a tour of the cathedral sacristy where i'll be a solemn sung latin mass server. it is 10x more MASSIVE and TRAD than my prev sacristy. i don't understand how god can turn my most painful recent torture of being ejected by my prev church into something so much greater.

why is vespers at the cathedral in latin but all the breviaries for attendees in english, and the cathedral bookshop doesn't sell the latin version used (it sells another english/latin version that is pre-vatican 2)? like bro what's your deal

@caseyofm I was thrown out of my prev church for an autistic meltdown despite all the daily altar service, sacristaning, even mending clergy's cassocks. it's the cross... sacrifice that isn't appreciated, the offerer mocked. come on to fr pat's show again & we can talk more about this 2/2

the cathedral priest who came all the way to give me the healing rites in hospital today (cos hospital chaplain skived) was called Fr Dermott which means 'free from envy'. considering the things I confessed and the healing I received, the grace of serendipity is a beautiful thing
