My last week in New Zealand! 🇳🇿
Exploring lakes, islands & spotting Weka birds has been a dream. In between, I’ve been writing Ghostbirth 2 & refining the JopenAI website. Taking in the no worries, mate mindset before the next adventure! 🌿✨

🚨 NEW EXPERIMENT 🚨
I’ve been working on something wild: injecting quantum noise into AI-generated image & sound.
Now, this work is part of Laure Prouvost’s installation at Kraftwerk Berlin (Feb 21) with LAS Art Foundation.
A thread on what this means & how it works… 🧵👇
I’m also working on a tutorial explaining how to inject your own noise into Stable Diffusion.
If you want to learn more about noise tensors, latent space, and AI-generated randomness, stay tuned. 👀
Thoughts? What’s your take on using quantum randomness in AI art? 🤔🔮

If you’re in Berlin, come see it in person!

👀 My work = glitchy, quantum-distorted videos & sound
More updates soon! Follow me for deep dives into AI, generative art, and experiments with noise. 🚀
This project blurs the lines between AI, art, and quantum physics.
Instead of refining AI for perfection, I let it embrace chaos. The result is an unpredictable collaboration between machine intelligence & the fundamental randomness of nature.
The effect on AI sound generation:
Similar to images, Stable Audio Diffusion relies on noise.
When I replaced it with quantum randomness, the sounds became strange, distorted, and alive—like hearing AI struggle to make sense of the universe.
The effect on AI image generation:
Stable Diffusion normally generates images by adding & removing controlled noise.
By replacing its usual noise with quantum noise, the AI behaved unpredictably—leading to glitchy, chaotic, surreal visuals.
(📷 I’ll share examples soon)
🔥 HOW I DID IT 🔥
With data from Google Quantum Labs, I injected quantum noise into:
1️⃣ Stable Diffusion (AI Image Generation)
2️⃣ Stable Audio Diffusion (AI Sound Generation)
Both processes rely on noise to function. I replaced it with quantum randomness.
Think of it like static on a radio, but happening on a subatomic level.
Most AI-generated art relies on controlled randomness to create images & sounds. But what if we injected pure quantum randomness instead?
The result? Glitchy, chaotic, and beautifully unpredictable.
But what’s my part in this?
I transformed Laure’s videos & sounds using Quantum Noise.
🔹 What’s Quantum Noise?
It’s the random fluctuations inside a quantum computer—a level of unpredictability that scientists usually try to eliminate.
I decided to embrace it instead.
The exhibition is a deep, immersive experience that blends:
🎥 Video
🖼️ Sculpture
🎶 Sound
👃 Even scent
It opens on Feb 21st and runs until May 4th at Kraftwerk Berlin. If you’re in Berlin, come see it!
The past few weeks have been intense but exciting. This project merges AI, art, and quantum computing, and I’m finally ready to share a glimpse.
The work will be exhibited at Kraftwerk next week as part of a installation by Laure Prouvost, in collab with LAS Art Foundation.
Big things are happening on my end – from AI projects to a new installation at Kraftwerk Berlin and Ghostbirth 2 script updates. More to come soon! Stay tuned.
