The @PortofOakland was happy to welcome #CaliforniaAirResourcesBoard Chair Liane Randolph and Executive Officer Steven Cliff for a briefing of the Port’s environmental and zero emissions initiatives, including the Port’s recent EPA Clean Ports grant application. If awarded, the grant would convert nearly 100% of all cargo handling equipment to zero emissions alternatives. The Port also recently announced a record 99% shore power usage, with a 94% average in the first half of 2024!
