@birdsmorocco Yes a great days birding in the high Atlas with @birdsmorocco. There were one or two Red-billed and Alpine Chough circling above us as well. Thanks Hamid π
A pleasant walk at Clifford Hill GP this morning, the BN Grebe was still present, 3 Curlew flew over, 2 Grey Partridge, 2 Egyptian Geese & a Barnacle Goose. #northantsbirds
A great 1 night visit to Bach Ma, Vietnam with local guide, Luc Nyugen. Some good birds seen and lucky to get a view of these Yellow-cheeked Gibbons. (Best with sound on :) #vietnam#bach ma #Gibbons
Pak Thale, Thailand, one of the world's best wader spots. Amazing for the sheer numbers and variety. After a bit of searching we found the Spoon-billed Sandpiper, with Great Knot, Red-necked Stints & Broad-billed Sandpiper. #waders#thailand#birding
Back from a great weekend in Yorkshire. The Pallid Swift showed well at times π@FlamboroughBird. Also Red-headed Bunting, Two-barred, Dusky, Pallas's, Yellow-browed Warblers. Plenty of common migrants about, like this tired Goldcrest.
@loosemum@Britnatureguide@Natures_Voice Hi Sharon, lovely photos. π The gull pictured is a young Black-headed. Gulls are quite a challenge! The white leading edge to the upper wing is a good id point for BHG. π
Well done to @Northampton_TC. Some patches of grass have been left un-mown and I spotted this pyramidal orchid growing in one small patch on the junction of Fullingdale/Dryland roads. #NoMowMay#LetItBloomJune
With the warm weather I put the moth trap on for the 1st time this year (9/6/23) and caught a new one for our Northampton garden. A Toadflax Brocade. First recorded in Northants about 10 yrs ago but appears to be spreading. #mothsmatter
