@carmenleelau Thanks for tweeting this. My non-abiding experiences have never lasted long enough for the rewiring to happen, and that useless feeling has made me deeply ambivalent about continuing to practice. Very reassuring to know itโs temporary!
@nickcammarata How do you manage the perceptual sense that things are not โrealโ anymore in the way you once knew them to be (esp loved ones & world)?

slowly learning that the very first thought I have in response to a message is usually the best one (most authentic, creative, spontaneous)
more consideration seems to just let other parts jump in and add layers of formality, timidness, etc
In writing (and maybe everything?), itโs funny that progress seems to necessarily mean thinking your old work is bad. And the worse you think it is, the more progress youโve made since then.
