Kimi K3 just fixed 15 critical security bugs that Codex and Fable refused because of “cyber guardrails.” There’s no reason to limit American models on tasks that Chinese models handle without issue. We’re only making ourselves less competitive.
I love Japan. I actually love it because it's civilized. I quite enjoy the food, but I can get very high quality Japanese food in the states. I hate anime and I don't play video games.
I love Japan because it's a place that reminds me of what America once was and can be again. The people aren't some magical and mystical people who can do no wrong. They have flaws like everyone else, but they've managed to maintain civilization where is much of the West has lots that ability.
Why? Because Japan is a higher IQ nation that preserved itself through xenophobia. Europe could actually be the same. As far as traveling, it's my favorite country. The reason I don't live there is because it is not my country. The Japanese don't share a culture with me. They have a parallel culture with shared ideals that are not ours. Eventually, even in a great society such as Japan, I would feel lonely and I would likely forever feel like an outsider. I wouldn't move there out of respect because I'm not Japanese.
In the end, Japan is a wonderful country. I can't wait to go back and visit soon, but it'll never be MY country.
Commencement speaker: I love AI and I hate all of you. They gave me a big check to be here. I love firing people at my big company. I bet none of you would get jobs at my business now that we have AI
(booing)
Commencement speaker: oh? What? What?
@TuckerCarlson The definition of AGI is that it can do anything a human can do and all of these companies openly state that is their goal. So how will any jobs be created for humans if, by definition, a machine can do any job with zero labor cost?
Only one chance in this lifetime…
Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him.
I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.
Agreed 100%. LLM answering "I don’t know" should be rewarded in benchmarks. Wrong answer should be negative score, while "I don’t know" isn't. We need to reward the training loop to value "I don’t know".
I rewatched Prince’s iconic Super Bowl halftime show from 2007, and one difference that jumped out at me—other than the massive disparity in talent —was that Prince was performing for a live audience rather than for the cameras. Bad Bunny’s performance might as well have been prerecorded. The audience in the stands had a subpar experience. The magic that comes from a live show was missing.
Government agents are going out in the freezing cold and deporting and shooting my political enemies in the street, literally enacting my will, while I’m at home on the couch with my feet up and somehow that makes me a boot licker lmfao nigga they’re MY BOOTS 😂

“House, we found what’s causing the patient’s weight lost. It’s a parasite but we can’t remove it because-”
“What? Because it has opened a daycare that your “nephews” go to? Or because it was “born here”?”
