We now know from Secretary Rubio’s own comments that Israel chose to strike Iran, fully aware that Iran would retaliate against U.S. forces, and that this retaliation became the basis for deeper American involvement. Let that sink in.
Our sons and daughters in uniform should never be used as leverage in someone else’s regional strategy. Yet once again, we are watching the slow march toward another open-ended conflict in the Middle East, not because America was attacked, not because Congress declared war, but because Bibi Netanyahu wants us to fight his war.
It is not the responsibility of American families to pay the price in blood and treasure for policies we did not vote on and wars we did not start.
Keith Self calls it a “righteous mission”, not just to strike Iran, but to rid Iran of its regime. Where have we heard that before?
If it is so righteous to the Israelis, why must American troops stand on the front lines? Why must American taxpayers foot the bill? Why are American families in CD3 expected to bear the cost?
We were promised an end to forever wars. Instead, we are being pulled toward another one. Texans are sick and tired of this, and tomorrow their voices will be heard at the polls.
VOTE KEITH SELF OUT — TOMORROW, MARCH 3rd!

This Memorial Day weekend Remember US Army Staff Sergeant James Lee.
James was a good friend who died from injuries from combat deployments to Iraq with the US Army.
There is so much to say when losing someone so close…
I first met and served with James back in 2000 at Fort Irwin, CA. At the time, we were both young enlisted Soldiers. Our families were friends as well. That time, he and his wife Kara had newborn twin babies, Kimber and Austin, who are now 21.
Both of us were Cav Recon Scouts and wanted a career in Law Enforcement. We attended law enforcement classes at Victor Valley community college commuting together, driving the 90-minute one-way trip from the base to classes in Victorville. Both of us re-enlisted as Military Police. Both got promoted to Sergeant. He was sent to Texas, and I was sent to Germany.
James deployed about 5-6 times to Iraq. The deployments were so hard on his family he ended up divorced.
Then this is the twist!
After deployments slowed down, he got back with his wife Kara and married her again! James was the only person I know that ever married the same woman twice. He would joke that he made the same mistake twice, but he loved his wife very much, and she loved him for the rest of his life.
James and I were stationed together again in Hawaii as Military Police Sergeants. By this time, the twins Kimber and Austin were growing up fast and he had another son Josh.
Our families reconnected, and we had some good years together. After proposing to my now wife, I asked James to be the best man at our wedding. Now that he is gone, it makes our wedding even more special and a lasting memory of my friend until I see him in the next life.
During these good years, we shared our children’s birthday parties, motorcycle rides, cookouts, and other special family moments. Soldiers stationed away often become each other’s family.
Staff Sergeant James Lee was one bad ass Soldier. But you wouldn’t know it looking at him. He carried himself as the loving family man and good friend to so many.
If you were pinned down by enemy fire he would risk his life to save yours. From the stories I heard, he did this on more than a few occasions over 5-6 combat deployments.
James was not one to brag about this kind of stuff. Rather, he would talk about his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, make you laugh, and be there to help you through tough times at work. And in the Army, tough times were most of the time.
We know Soldiers make the ultimate sacrifice. What you don’t hear are the stories of the spouses and children that support a service member. While you have your husband safe at home, there is another wife who waits at home alone while her husband is out getting shot at so you can sleep safe at night. Our deployments are months and years long, which does untold damage to spouses and children.
His wife Kara was at his side to the end. She took a chance twice on her husband and loved him until he died at 38...
Kara and I had a long conversation, probably the longest we ever had. She told me about issues receiving James death benefits from the VA that just compounded the pain. I am not going to share certain details. I am just going to tell you that we as Americans owe a debt of gratitude to Staff Sergeant James Lee, his wife, and their children who are going on without a husband and father forever.
As I write this, I have tears in my eyes. Then I am reminded…
James told me often he believes “it’s about the journey, not the destination”. I guess after so much combat, he knew we all go to the same place. Let’s enjoy the journey.
Until I see you again brother, RIP James.

As the United States heads down this dangerous path once again, I think of my friend James, who was the best man at my wedding.
Every life lost creates a lifetime of pain for those left behind.
***You can read what his family helped me write about him. I try to share it every Memorial Day and Veterans Day. Please remember James…

EPSTEIN FILES🔥 Ohmygod
Frm: John Brockman
To: JEFFREY EPSTEIN
“p.s. You missed the big event on Saturday. A party with a dozen beautiful East Side girls (well, a dozen one-year olds!!)” 👈 👈🤬
Remember when we learned that our wealthiest and most powerful people were connected to a guy who ran a literal child sex trafficking ring? And then that guy died mysteriously in a jail? And now we just don't talk about it.
As your Member of Congress tells you they voted against my resolution releasing the sexual harassment files because they wanted to "protect" victims. The truth is victims and witnesses were both protected in my resolution. Their names were redacted in the resolution.
Don't let Congress lie to you. Don't do it.
Hold the line.
People of America 🇺🇸 This Epstein guy was a real piece of 💩
How demonic of a person he was in raping these children?
With every pedophile who participating in these monstrous acts, they should be given the death penalty!!
YES I SAID IT 😡
#DemVoice1#DemsUnited#ProudBlue
@RepKeithSelf is your mind really gone or did you just literally vote in Congress to protect sexual predators?
@RepFine did you put something in his drink?
@Aaron4fl6 did your boy Randy Fine drug my congressman?
🚨 138 Republicans members of Congress just voted to BLOCK the release of sexual misconduct reports 🚨
Here’s the full list of Republicans who voted to keep these records secret ⬇️
Keep talking, keep sharing.
🚨Congress voted to hide the names of lawmakers who used taxpayer money to settle sexual harassment claims.
Think about that!
🚨The same people accused are the ones voting on whether the public gets to know.
In what damn system is this even possible?
What a weird way for 182 Democrats & 175 Republicans to admit that they would rather protect their sexual predator colleagues instead of victims — unless these 357 were protecting themselves.
The Iran War Powers Resolution narrowly failed, but we put everyone on record.
We’re being told this military action could last months. That’s the exact circumstance in which the Founders intended for Congress to authorize war, but sadly we’ve now abdicated that responsibility.
I SUPPORT TUCKER.
Trump doesn’t even know what MAGA is anymore and turned it into MIGA.
Trump is not America First, he’s donor first.
Tucker would beat Trump if he ran for President and Trump tried to violate the constitution and tried to run again for a third term.
It’s bonkers that Congress has a $17M slush fund of your tax dollars to pay off sexual harassment claims against them.
It’s even more bonkers they are hiding it from you.
BREAKING: 🇺🇸 Rep. Thomas Massie starts calling out names from the Epstein files on the House floor saying millions of documents describe “unspeakable things.”
