@awkwardgoogle What the video and other posts don’t mention is that by changing the set up of the pen holder one could vary the uprightness into whatever slope of italics you wanted.
@awkwardgoogle I still have a set of these. Used them a lot until computers made them redundant. It’s quite a skill to get the spacing even, but once you can do it, you can get really quick.

@fecklessfox1000 Because, back in the day, everybody wallpapered their rooms rather than just using emulsion paint, so there was always an odd half roll left over. It was therefore easier to use that and cheaper than buying brown parcel-wrapping paper to do the job.
