@DrTomSchreiner, you blessed us tremendously! Thank you for your partnership in the gospel here in the Middle East. It was a great joy to sit under your teaching once again.
So thankful for the influence of Dr. Steve Wellum.
His biblical teaching has shaped and formed me in more ways than I know. He is a wonderful guide from text, through doctrine, to application in all of life.
Cannot recommend this work more highly.

For @TGC I made a playlist of 100 songs with a catechetical flair to them: songs that teach Christian truth and yet do it poetically, with excellence.
While designed with new believers in mind, it’s a playlist Christians at any stage might enjoy. https://t.co/HBgqucDLIa

Teaching tomorrow evening at our church on the topic "Understanding Church Membership."
Is church membership biblical? Yes.
Tomorrow I'll teach on these ten theses:
1. The New Testament letters were written to organized churches.
2. There are reports in the New Testament of people being counted and added.
3. Elders are called to shepherd a particular flock.
4. The practice of excommunication involves removal from something you belong to.
5. Taking matters of discipline to the church assumes an identifiable church body.
6. Christian obedience involves actions toward “one another.”
7. Christian maturity involves accountability.
8. Discipleship involves submission to teaching and authority.
9. Decisions are made by a recognized congregation.
10. Congregations are called to guard the gospel.
Taken together, these ten theses support the importance and necessity of joining a local church as a confessing Christian.
