Austin Metcalf is dead.
Let’s stop dancing around the obvious.
Austin Metcalf received the death penalty.
Karmelo Anthony received 35 years.
One of them lives.
One of them gets a gravestone.
Save the faux outrage.
The real victim in this case is NOT the convicted killer.
The real victim is the young man who will never come home again and the family that will spend the rest of their lives grieving a loss that can never be undone.
This was a track meet.
A place for competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
NOT violence.
NOT murder.
And spare us the racial narratives.
Murder is wrong regardless of the race of the victim or the perpetrator. Any decent society should be able to agree on that.
Austin Metcalf lost everything.
His family got a life sentence of grief.
And while some are busy turning this tragedy into a racial debate, the Metcalf family is looking at the empty chair at the dinner table and remembering who actually paid the highest price.
Austin Metcalf got the death penalty.
Never forget that.
I’ve referred these allegations to DOJ’s new Fraud Division for criminal investigation. Minnesota state officials are not above the law, and if they facilitated fraud, lied under oath about what they knew, or harassed and intimated whistleblowers, they must face justice.
When I was the Air Force Military Aide to Bill Clinton (and again, that was not a political appointee position, it was a military assignment), I served daily with very young staffers who were appointed because of their efforts in the campaign or who their parents were.
I really enjoyed interacting with most of them. Bright kids from Ivy League school. But their naïveté and lack of experience showed. Dramatically.
One day I was walking across the White House “campus,” the “18 acres,” and I encountered one of the young female staffers. We chatted for a bit, and she asked me, “So, why did you join the military? Were your career options limited or were you forced to by a judge?”
I wanted to throat punch her, but I said, “No, ma’am, I volunteered.”
She asked, “But why? Lack of education? No other options?”
“No, ma’am, I volunteered. Really. Not only do I have a Bachelor’s but also an MBA.”
She asked again, “Then why?”
I shook my head and walked away. They simply can’t understand a higher calling. They are incapable of understanding that another human who would selflessly serve.
Therein lies much of the Democrat vs. military disconnect. They’re missing the patriotism chip.
The men who stormed the beaches of Normandy fought to defend Western Civilization
We have a duty to them and to our posterity to continue that fight
The West must be preserved

In 2024 Chris Murphy was slamming Robert Hur as a partisan hack for noting that Biden had a poor memory. Murphy claimed that Biden was perfectly fit to serve another term.
Even after the debate, Murphy was still claiming that Biden was fit for another term.
Fast forward to 2026 and Murphy wants to criticize Trump's fitness for office so he's acknowledging the "mistake" he and other Democrats made in 2024.
No Murphy, it wasn't a mistake. You lied over and over again about Biden. Your opinion on a President's fitness for office means nothing.
Did you notice that De Niro did not critique specific policies of @realDonaldTrump? In The Parasitic Mind, I explained how the left hates Trump because they view him as being injurious to their aesthetic sense. They invoke their affective system to demonize him rather than fairly judge him using their cognitive system.
Touch a cop and this FBI will put you down - thanks to @nicksortor for the video we used facial recognition technology and @FBI arrested a subject within 24 hours

@catturd2@BillKristol Bill Kristol is still around? Wow, I thought he professionally died years ago. I used to like him when he had conservative values.
@CreativeDeduct Maryland has a stormwater fee, often referred to as the "rain tax," which is based on the amount of impervious surface, such as roofs, on a property. This fee is intended to fund stormwater management and reduce pollution in the Chesapeake Bay.
So you just build more floors. 🤣
