@AppsCaramel @PlayRuneterra@riotgames Awesome man! Good luck! Nat and I played a lot in beta and the first few seasons but stopped due to no real competitive scene. How do you feel about the future of the game and the plans for tournaments?
In gaming/esports we tend to disassociate from reality and ignore huge real life issues happening around us, even sarcastically joke about it occasionally.
So sad that as horrifying, disturbing, and terrible this situation is, it’s also par for the course.
What an awful day.
@psydeus565 I think that it is a great experience if done in conjunction with external feedback. If the only person is yourself, you do not have the opportunity to learn unknown knowns. #EDL_655
As a teacher, I shy away from communicating with my students via social media, However, I can see the great benefit that it can have when it comes to fast and effective communication. #EDL_655
@buck_nichole I think the answer is different for each family, and the younger the child is, the more power parents would have. Social media is important to expose children to because it gives them opportunities to develop digital citizenship! #EDL_655
I like the idea of one on one conferences, but I do not see how the teacher can be separate from the rest of the class in order to conduct them properly. #EDL_655
As a teacher working in a school that is entirely 1:1 with laptops, I cannot see simply a mobile phone being as effective for educational purposes. #EDL_655
When using a BYOD model of educational technology, how do you maintain proper security of your network? I would be nervous what people are bringing to the network with not properly maintained devices. #EDL_655
@AMatile I had students last year use blogs to track progress and on occasion I would have them go in and comment on peers blogs to keep them accountable to the class. #EDL_655
@AMatile The issue with Chromebook is that there is no real hard drive to store files on, so everything must be in the cloud. You would need to find a cloud based storage solution, or you could try thumb drives with windows media player #EDL_655
