Meet Mark (@markdodgson), the CXO at Relevant Bits, the company behind Context, a powerful personalization and A/B testing tool designed for Shopify brands with annual revenues between $500k and $4m. Unlike other personalization apps that cater to larger brands, Context offers an out-of-the-box, no-code solution that enables agencies, marketers, and merchants to be fully operational in under 5 minutes.

Context seamlessly transforms existing theme sections into personalized areas, supporting real-time content changes based on various rules, including customer segments, UTM parameters, geolocation, date ranges, weather, and more.

Currently, Mark and his team are focusing on marketing their app while continuing to develop new features. They're creating a Context Cookbook to guide customers on crafting personalization recipes that enhance conversions, Average Order Value, and Customer Lifetime Value.

At @Shopify Editions, Mark is eager to connect with other app developers to discuss marketing strategies and explore new opportunities and partnerships. He's also excited to learn about the latest developments from Shopify and potentially speak with @abialecki, the CEO of Klaviyo, about their integration and future opportunities.

Outside of work, Mark is an avid runner, a novice pickleball player, a European football follower, a former club DJ, and a passionate music enthusiast with a knack for remembering song names and release years (but not so much with movie titles and actors).

Mark hopes to connect with other developers at Editions to explore solutions that can reduce the friction they currently experience when creating content variations in the Shopify theme editor.
