@peterawolf Have you shared your take with the 80-some members of Brandon's Bodies, those who didn't bleed out and die, that is? How about their families? What do you actually know about the ShotSpotter system and its efficacy, apart from the single erroneous statistic you've echoed here?
@JustinRose99@McIlroyRory I was rooting for you all week, @JustinRose99, and have no doubt you'll be competitive at Augusta for years to come after yet another outstanding result this year -- keep up the great work!
#Masters
@JasonSobelGolf It’s a shame his younger fans needed to see this, especially from the self-styled Christian and family man—not a good look by any measure.
@McInnispicks “Bragging” is the odd part in your take and, in any case, he’s leading the Masters by six after two days so probably not worth quibbling with his process.
@ChicagosMayor You should justify your "unproven technology" claim by sharing the results of the live fire tests conducted months ago for your acoustic gunshot detection RFP—the citizens of Chicago and #ChicagoPD will no doubt find that more interesting than your Plan B: animated hand gestures.
@LangmanVince The only mental disorder in evidence here is believing the person who shared this video is sufficiently competent to run a church bake sale, much less a country. Your continued support for @realDonaldTrump should someday be a source of debilitating, permanent shame.
@awinston@PeterMoskos This one post alone makes clear you're more interested in your agenda than the merits of the ShotSpotter technology--you certainly are not the informed expert you claim to be.
@AnikaJaneBeamer, I enjoyed your @insideclimate@RAGBRAI_IOWA article, rode this year and in 2023 and thought I'd suggest that "RAGBRAI has routed amateur and seasoned cyclists alike from east to west across Iowa" should be "west to east," no?

@Xglobalhumane@BrianHegseth@johncusack Your NASAS app is in no way a replacement for #ShotSpotter and would likely see less adoption or use than current 911 services. Your "more advanced system" would, in practice, be wholly ineffective in pinpointing gunfire in real time.
@BELTenterprises Are you still looking for Matt? I know him and saw him yesterday in the Menlo Park, CA, Peet's Coffee Shop. He was a regular member of our Menlo Park Chess Club middle of last year. If you need to get word to him I can probably do that for you.
It took several minutes more than it should have for first responders to arrive at the scene of a fatal shooting last night. That's because 911 callers heard gunfire, but didn't know where the shots were coming from.
ShotSpotter would have known.
