@randfish One thing I have seen in the past is SEM campaigns use branded search (which coverts really well) to improve their overall metrics for their PPC campaigns (make unprofitable campaigns look profitable).
@CyrusShepard@micahfk@WSJ Unfortunately only even numbered pages in the document - so footnote 57 is missing. I really wanted to find the document that is referenced. Anyway, great to see confirmation on click data.
Did you convert to/away from Google's new dynamic rendering scheme for JS? If so, I'd like to know how it went. Looking for case studies also for SMX West panel. Survey: https://t.co/DBeK2t77rg #technicalSEO#smx#JavaScript.
SEORadar new free SEO Diff Tools (beta) to help with your audits.
Fetched vs. Rendered (DOM) https://t.co/g4mYE6kvYW - See what is getting inserted with JS.
Mobile vs. Desktop: https://t.co/S0dqkvc24j - compare mobile to desktop on-page elements. #technicalseo#SEO
I am really excited to be coming back to #SMX to speak at SMX West . I'll be in the JS session talking about the benefits and challenges/risks of dynamic rendering as compared to SSR or client rendering. #smx#technicalseo
@iPullRank@ItsHogg Great extension! Another option, for a nice structured view for Fetched vs. Rendered, check out our new free tool. https://t.co/8rnQYgA2jD Also Mobile Vs. Desktop and Live vs. Internet Archive diffs.
Takeaways:
1. Initially only HTML indexed. Rendered may lag by days. Yikes.
2. Meta tags will only be indexed from raw HTML.
3. OK to serve HMTL snaphots to G-bot based on UA.
SSR, pre-rendering or dynamic rendering is the way to go. #technicalSEO

@methode Thanks for meeting our little group in SF for coffee this week. I really enjoyed talking SEO with you!! It was fascinating. And regarding the discussion on hreflangs, I do have an idea to share. LMK the best way to get it to you.
@randfish More signals in DA will make it more obtuse. Consider the case where a high DA site ranks poorly due to poor on-page optimization or tech. Now I can look at DA and know that the issue must be elsewhere. Munge them all together and things get less clear. Make a separate score.
@ToddHRose Most likely Google is having trouble finding the links to locations and resorts which is going to kill their indexing and/or rankings. Maybe you should try @prerender to create HTML snapshots?
Read about importance of making redirects persist along with the sad story of how I got bitten by this many years ago. We ended up building a dedicated redirect checker into SEORadar to prevent cases like this from happening. #TechnicalSEO#seo https://t.co/DvxdgSnSnW
