@keaneshaw@Forza_Garibaldi The first look you get of the pitch when you walk up the stairs from the concourse area, the green just looks magic. It never fails to look amazing

Tony Mowbray’s enthusiasm for football is remarkable, after the year he’s experienced. Lost 4 & a half stones, didn’t recognise himself in a hospital mirror, couldn’t speak or keep food down for a time. The @WBA players lucky to be managed by such a brave gentleman.
Slightly different tweet from me this morning…
Just over a year ago one of my best friends was diagnosed with an acute form of Leukemia.
He is one of the friendliest, most energetic, cheekiest, fun loving people you could ever meet, with the most encyclopaedic knowledge of a whole range of sports. He can talk county cricket, Super Rugby, boxing, athletics, tennis, his beloved Ipswich Town and everything in between. He’s one of those people who is impossible not to love. One of the world’s good ones!
After numerous rounds of treatment in 2024, which eventually lead to remission, it’s unfortunately come back. Next for him is a bone marrow transplant in a couple of months time. Thankfully he has a really strong match and he’ll get through this.
But what I’d like to encourage people to do today is either to share this message to raise awareness or even consider signing up to the Antony Nolan register.
Antony Nolan is a charity that works to help people with Leukemia and other forms of blood cancer, by managing and recruiting people to be part of the stem cell register as well as funding research into saving the lives of those affected.
If you do end up applying for it, Antony Nolan will send you a kit, which involves spitting into a tube. You’ll then be on the register, and if there is someone that is a match for you, you’ll be contacted and asked whether you are willing to donate stem cells (which are taken from your bone marrow in your hip).
What is the procedure like? It’s a 30 minute operation under general anaesthetic, where a needle is inserted into your hip to collect blood enriched stem cells. From articles I’ve read people have spoken feeling very tired and potentially nauseous. Look, that's not a nice feeling at all, but it’s probably worthwhile to help save a life!
Thank you so much for reading this tweet, I really do appreciate it!

Remembering veteran Vera Hay who helped 200 casualties per day after landing on Gold Beach shortly after D-Day in her role as Junior Sister in the Queen Alexandra's Imperial Military Nursing Service.
We thank you for your amazing service, Vera. Lest we forget. 🇬🇧❤️🇬🇧
Best wishes @JoeWorrall5.
We'll always remember you lifting the trophy at Wembley and in Nottingham the following day. Iconic scenes that will be etched in the club's history.
Thanks for everything! ♥️

My family dog was stolen last night— please, if anyone has any information, get in touch (and please amplify this, if you can).
We’ve put up a £500 reward for any information. He was snatched outside the supermarket, his GPS tracker has been destroyed.
We’ve heard he may have been spotted on the 74 bus with a man and woman near Knightsbridge around 10:50 last night.
@metpoliceuk so far has refused to send an officer to get the cctv footage of the thief, which @waitrose says it cannot share with anyone else. Shocking that the police can’t muster half an hour of one person’s time to move this along.
