There are some pay-to-play racers in NASCAR. Most are at least somewhat capable of holding the wheel.
Then...there are others who are weapons. Team owners want the revenue. I'm a capitalist and I understand it.
However, shouldn't @NASCAR step in at some point?
Many thoughts---but the most important ones - and prayers - are for Samantha, Brexton, Lennix, and Kyle's entire family.
As fans, we've lost a legend, but they've lost so much more.
Hey, @ChuckForWyoming, I'm sure you're a solid conservative because you're in WY and your last name's not Cheney, but please tell the idiotic PAC supporting you (Protecting #Wyoming Values) to quit calling people in #Wisconsin from WI-spoofed numbers.
Their donors are wasting money.
@TeamKFBfan8 In 1987, they were typically $0.50 unless it was an RC or old machine in a church basement. For me, it was Pepsi back then. I later realized Coke is superior.
Now they both kind of suck without real sugar.
@Wendys@mymixtapez Well, @Wendys, your marketing game is ๐ฅas of late. Between more effective ads, bigger presence in NASCAR, and this, I might be your guy. Haha.
A slate of @NASCAR road/street course racing this weekend and no @KazGrala is a total bummer. Can't we get him into NASCAR something, @ToyotaRacingUSA? He's talented enough to race every week but you're definitely leaving something on the table if he's not on every road course!
Man....@sheldoncreed has lost a lot of races this way and finally wins one!
Hat tip to @_AustinHill. He had this thing won...all remember the tension between the two a couple years ago, but still had the class to congratulate Sheldon on track. Very classy.
@jeff_gluck Agreed. I've been fortunate enough to have that kind of access. As a fan, you must first recognize the teams, media, officials, sponsor are there to work. Even with that, they're often exceedingly gracious to fans.
There's no excuse to act like that.
@Kenny_Wallace This guy is an idiot. When you have the privilege of this kind of access, you must FIRST respect that the drivers, teams, sponsors, media, and officials are there to work.
@Julius_Kim The algorithm changed a few months ago and I see fewer real people. Although we're generally on opposite sides of the aisle, I don't think it's political.
I'm a huge racing fan and follow many other fans--people with few followers -like me-and they've virtually disappeared.
Moving The Clash in the MIDDLE of it to FS2, which few people have is ridiculous, @NASCAR@NASCARONFOX.
I know it's prime time and networks give that priority, but you need a better backup plan.
