It’s National Dam Safety Awareness Day-531 Anniversary of Johnstown Dam Failure - Dams can be useful but if they fail, catastrophic flooding often results. To further promote resilience, we are working in DCR with the Governor to ensure that regulated dams are safe. @Dam_Safety
