Just spoke to a lady at @bromleyfc as had an issue getting a ticket for Grandad George - Amy was her name - If more people were like her, the world would be a better place as she was an absolute diamond! 😄😄😄
@mc1903 Hello. Thanks for your patience while we carried out the installation of the sheet piles. The piles were completed yesterday and the rig has left site so you should see a big improvement from now on.
🎬 Our man Paul has been to #Hook to see progress on the landslip, affecting @SW_Help customers.
Piling is well underway now as we build a wall of steel to hold the railway up - but there's some complex track work needed before all four lines are back in use.

⚠️ Don’t get stranded! Saturday 25 June is a strike day. Only travel if absolutely necessary.
There will be a severely reduced service – last trains will leave at around 1700 and will be very busy.
Services will start late on Sunday 26 June, with no trains before 0730.
We helped @samaritans launch #BrewMonday at @LondonWaterloo this morning, with artist @NathanWyburnArt and a host of others from the railway industry. Take time out today for a cuppa and a chat - you won't regret it.
We're back at #Guildford to upgrade the track and signalling, completing a long-term programme of improvements. More here from route director @MarkKillick6:

After 47 years, the #Feltham Area Signalling Centre handled its last train to #StrawberryHill 🍓
From Wednesday 7, new signals on this part of the network will be controlled from our Rail Operating Centre in #Basingstoke 👷

❤️ Show the remodelling team in Southampton some love with a retweet, enabling longer freight trains in the port's area. 🚃⛴️➡️https://t.co/80ZBRPQK0F
We are delighted that, together with colleagues at @SW_Help, we have been named the Customer Service Excellence winner at the Rail Business Awards. The award was won for the amazing work our Trespass and Welfare Officers do. Well done team, we're incredibly proud of you!
Farewell to the oldest trains on the network. When these first carried passengers in 1938, Neville Chamberlain was Prime Minister. @IslandLineUK@SW_Help
A huge 10 day programme of essential railway upgrade works across the Wessex route which will help to deliver better passenger and freight journeys in 2021 and beyond @NetworkRailWssx https://t.co/a3zLUqhXFV
Have you seen our water jet trains out across the route? They're running to keep @SW_Help , @CrossCountryUK + @GWRHelp trains moving safely and on-time through autumn. Appalling puns aside, leaves really are no joke for railways ⬇️

This is the @networkrail funded Wessex Disruption Team.
They work with external partners to keep disruption, crime and fear of crime low.
They've worked with @SurreyPolice@NHSuk and @SW_Help to support an individual who caused £750k worth of delays to turn their life around.
😷 We're working hard to clean our trains and stations so passengers and colleagues can travel safely
⚡️To help us do this, we’re using a powerful sanitiser as part of an enhanced cleaning regime

📽️ Watch Jeff from our cleaning team in action;
Our fleet of leaf busting trains are now out everyday across the network - the video below explains why this is so important.
In Wessex our autumn treatment trains cover over 2,300 miles each day, so over the autumn season that’s the equivalent of 6 times around the world!!
🍁🍃As the nights draw in and the leaves start to brown, our 'leaf-busters' are busily preparing to keep services moving safely this #autumn. 🛤️
🎥 Leaves on the line is no joke - it's the railway’s equivalent of black ice. 🥶

We're replacing track and points at the busy #Whitton junction, where the #Hounslow loop line meets the line toward #Feltham and #Staines 🔀🛠️
Work began in the early hours of Saturday morning and will continue through to around 5am on Tuesday morning 🌅🧑🔧
@SW_Help
A sight to make @Se_Railway passengers (and us!) happy this morning - the first train signalled over the new kit at #HitherGreen and the new computer controlling it all at Three Bridges. Thank you to everyone for your patience after our 9-day project to make it happen.
