@henrywinter Emma Hayes (correctly) called it "a victory for immigration," on ITV just now. That sound you hear is heads metaphorically exploding across the UK. Tee-hee.
Emma Hayes, @itvfootball 's best idea at this World Cup, correctly calls Cape Verde's 0-0 draw with Spain "a victory for immigration," to the sound of heads metaphorically exploding across the land. Tee-hee.
@johnmadden2706 I've said it elsewhere but it bears repeating. The quality gap between Cavanagh and Brian Fenton on punditry duty yesterday was enormous...
The @TheSundayGame Round 3 draw graphic looked like a wish list. Reading from left to right, it was Donegal/Monaghan, Armagh/Kerry (which seems inevitable), Westmeath/Meath and Mayo/Dublin. For neutrals anyway, could that be bettered? (Brian Fenton would certainly be happy...)
I think Brian Fenton is a breath of fresh @TheSundayGame punditry air, anyway. But VERY especially so when stood in-between Lee Keegan and Sean Cavanagh.
@SeamusDuke@RoscommonGAA@RoscommonPeople And there's been a few of them (says a veteran of Drogheda 2005). But next year golds genuine promise, despite what others may think. Metaphorically, see you next year #hontherossies

@cooney_ian At underage too, it seems. Psychological problem? I'm tired of saying "we're better than that," after a bad championship exit (going back to Drogheda in '05...I was there). And we ARE better than THAT. But people will be laughing at us now. Again. Rightly so. And I'm sick of THAT
@cooney_ian All very nervous. This team have the comeback in them, unlike many Rossie sides in previous years. But they have to make it happen, otherwise we'll be laughed at again.
Sinn Fein bringing people onto the streets close to an interface area.
Highly irresponsible, but of course: nationalist protests are good; unionist protests are bad.
@JohnCleese So, responding to a vile crime by a Sudanese man by attacking ANYONE with dark skin is NOT racism? You used to be, as the phrase goes, "Funny ha-ha." Superbly so, too. Now you're just funny pathetic.
@marsh_ross Weird. This exact conversation has now "happened" three times on three different flights. Although this recollection seems to lack the sentence telling us who or what "he" was.
