@physicsgeek Feel the same way about the "Ballroom."
A new tourist attraction (which is what it will be 75% of the time) won't be bad for DC or for America.
NYT published uncorroborated accusations against @grahamformaine of “unsettling” and “toxic” behavior that came from a Heritage staffer who previously worked for a conservative org that backs Collins.
Yeah, a "normal person from 1995" totally argued that 1/3 of the US population should be deported and foreign-born Americans shouldn't be able to hold public office
@CathyYoung63 No one who has ever dealt with squatters likes squatters.
As someone who owned a house and had squatters in 1995, I feel some moral authority on this.
@Logically_JC I hear daily from my neighbors who live in NYS but not in NYC that they're big mad about bailing out the delinquents in The Big City.
Eventually he will run out of Other People's Money.
@bonchieredstate There's value in making it blindingly obvious that those four are serving as the cutouts for the rest of the GOPe.
Voters need to have their noses rubbed in the contempt the Establishment feels for them.
@physicsgeek@RobProvince My guess is the real flood of info hits when (a) there's still time to get him off the general election ballot and (b) there isn't enough time for a "flash" primary.
Where have we seen that before?
@TimChartersn5@neoavatara I suspect there is worse waiting, and Dems are holding back so they can hand-pick the replacement once Platner drops out.
The current stuff is just softening the target.
@neoavatara The "Rules For Radicals" generation can't get it in their heads that they've become the Prude Party, and therefore hypocrisy hurts them as much or more than the same stuff done by the "Christian" Right
Liberals have learned NOTHING from the Trump years.
You know why every single moral complaint about Trump falls on deaf ears?
Because when an obvious complaint comes up against a Democrat, Dems will find every excuse in the book.
A decade on, and they are as stupid as ever.
@Joey08842532@shipwreckedcrew I was wondering how Platner ended up on the political scene.
He's running for onr of the most prestigious/powerful spots in American politics, and his resume makes AOC's background look like a cross between a Rhodes Scholar and Mother Therresa.
@neoavatara When it comes to recognizing normal, most professional Democrats are like the fabled blind men trying to describe an elephant.
Education and peer assumptions has so warped their conceptions of America they can't even see it.
@KenGardner11 Democrats don't want to defend or explain Default Democratic Policies. When they do the get their asses handed to them.
So the shift is always to the moral failings of Republicans, the evil nature of Conservative policy, and starving babies.
