Jesus was buried… but he wasn’t inactive.
Seeds go underground before they grow. Graves may look like endings but there is a hope that goes way beyond the grave. In the silence of #EasterSaturday God was at work.
God hides His greatest victories where you’d least expect them
The world is broken, but so are we.
Every headline, every conflict, every act of cruelty traces back to something fractured deep inside the human heart. Good Friday says that Jesus saw it all — and gave everything to heal it. Not just the mess out there, but the mess in here.
Today we were with Engine House Church,Cornwall. What a joy to join with this vibrant, all age church who have a big heart for God and for the county of Cornwall.
The church is being led wonderfully by Hannah Giddens and her husband Jonny who are leading a great team.
It’s all too easy to join in the ‘Britain is broken’ chorus, but the church is called to sing a different song, a prophetic song, a song that brings the hope-filled gospel to this nation
Watch this powerful message to the UK Church from Pastor @markpugh of @elimpentecostal and @rediscoverexe concerning 'Broken Britain': "The Church in the UK needs to prophesy over this nation that God has a plan and purpose for the millions of people in this country." #ukchurch
After a busy few months, I’m looking forward to taking a few weeks annual leave, signing off from all online channels and chasing some vitamin D with my wonderful wife.
I look forward to catching up on my return.

“When our calling is more important than our caller we have a problem” Dr Arianna Malloy
God I pray for church leaders everywhere, that the one who called us will be the number one passion of our hearts and lives 🙏
Affirming the dignity of all life in a time of ethical crisis. A response from #Elim’s Public Theology Taskforce on recent UK legislation regarding abortion and assisted dying, and other global events impacting life, death, and human worth.
Today is Pentecost Sunday - the day we celebrate the birthday of the Church - when the promised Holy Spirit filled and empowered the early church and successive generations since.
I’m praying this Pentecostal fire will ignite hearts afresh this day. Come Holy Spirit!
What a stunning ELS2025. God has been powerfully at work among the @elimpentecostal family and it has been a sheer joy to see people coming alive to who they are and who God is. Healings, baptisms in the spirit, revelations and awe filled worship. It has been just wow!
As our leaders gather from across the nations in Harrogate, we are expectant!.

The conference ended with such joy!!!
Imagine going to the burial site and being greeted with this message….
‘but the angel said, “Don’t be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Look, this is where they laid his body.’
Mark 16:6
He is risen!
This is one of my favourite reminders of the sheer generosity of Gods love. There is nothing we can do to deserve such love but Jesus gave himself to prove we are His intended recipients. I pray many will hear the man on the middle cross say ‘I love you’ #GoodFriday

All over the world the good news of Jesus is impacting lives - this good news has never been contained by buildings and has always found a way of spreading. What a joy to share this uncontainable message in Exeter City Centre and see people receive it with great joy!

We’ve been so blessed to be at Lurgan Elim Church this weekend. Mark & Merle Patterson are great leaders and have wonderful stories that point to the work of God in and through their lives and it was a blessing to be with them.
