Nick visited the construction site at Paulsboro Marine Terminal, #NewJersey yesterday as part of the @tradegovuk Northern Powerhouse #Offshorewind Trade Mission delegation. The new facility will construct the monopiles for the Ocean Winds 1 & 2 wind farms.
@JBAConsulting
I was last in Atlantic City as a 17 year old boy, in love with the ocean and dreaming of any career that might involve the sea. After many years, I'm back discussing the booming #offshorewind sector, big boats, wind turbines, waves and wind.

Really pleased that @JBAConsulting could support Kris' MSc @SwanseaUni with @KarunarathnaU on gravel beach #morphodynamics. A very interesting project under challenging circumstances this last year.

This has been a fascinating working with @CopernicusECMWF and @deltares on this piece of work. It demonstrates that the impacts of climate change are going to be complex and multi-dimensional for the marine industry. And that we need to get serious now!
The first in our series of blogs looking at #ClimateChange and the marine industry, @MarkRLawless Director, explores what climate change will mean for key marine industries such as #Ports, #Shipping and #OffshoreWind.
