Network Effects of social media are frustrating to some but their power is real. I lost touch with some friends from the past when they moved from Facebook to Google Plus. Now folks are moving to twitter replacements — with good reasons.
But also never to be heard from again.
@ThomRainer This graph shows church attendance vs full time ministry workers based on this thread. On average, @ThomRainer repliers are in churches with one full time pastor plus one more ministry worker for every 100 attendees.
@pastorjgkell Lepucki suggests that children can thrive playing & using their imagination on their own, and that some parents may feel the need to be too involved in their children's playtime. She may have some reasonable points.
But I don’t believe that those support the article's title.
@pastorjgkell Wow - Amazing stat. I love the idea, and I agree we should pray for the same to keep happening. Just as an unimportant historical curiosity…they were in a country with a state church. Is it clear how many, if any, of the 70% were “members” of the Church of England?

For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon.’ The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look at him! A glutton and a drunkard... (Matt.11:16-19)
If Jesus had unfair criticism in his first years of work, and John endured the criticism for the doing opposite, while both were being obedient to God, should we be surprised when we are unfairly accused? But we can get it wrong -- so let's be sure the insults are unfair...
@ArtRainer@Airbnb@vrbo We’ll shop both for price and cancellation policy. Many properties are listed on both. In the past vrbo was geared only for weekly rentals.
@ArtRainer Multiple rooms mean we have some privacy.
The locations are often better; e.g.; in big cities you can stay closer to interesting places than hotels permit.
Hotels are in cities or near highways, but to stay near the country, we have to rent a house.
