X appears to be clamping down on speech again.
A children's network bringing in sexual behavior into its decision making is obviously not good. "Grooming" seems like an appropriate word here. Yet, some are disagreeing and reporting the post.
@Protestia "We've decided to practice church quite unlike anything seen or prescribed in the New Testament based on our understanding of a couple of descriptive texts which are unrelated to church polity or Christian living."
I was at a church once that had been pastored by a 9Marks guy, and his first act was to haul the American flag out, calling it idolatry.
I get not wanting it to keep the sanctuary "clean" of distracting elements, but that always seemed extreme.
Our current church has flags, and I just didn't think that was a profitable fight. We're in America. It's not a big deal.
Pants=hell?
Pastor Elijah of True Vine Holiness Church warns women that if they die in their sleep while wearing pants, they're going to hell.
Likewise, husbands who tell their wives it's ok for them to wear pajama pants, which is an "abomination," are going to hell.
@BeltFedRev I agree that it's a weird thing to focus on.
Strike that: It's a "safe" issue to focus on. To call out the idolatry of feminism, for instance, is too radical a call and might offend people.
